Experts warn that lack of vitamin D during the pregnancy can cause children to suffer long-term rakitis and disturbance such as schizophrenia and diabetes type 1. So it is important to fill a good intake of vitamin D from foods or supplements coming from.
As reported by The Telegraph, Wednesday (14/12/2011), health practitioners Andrew Walker asked the government to consider giving vitamin D to all pregnant and breastfeeding mothers by 10 mcg per day to increase public awareness of vitamin D.
